Shelley Morelli

Founder and Director

Her calm, methodical head helps businesses make sense of complex sustainability data and to adopt a pragmatic approach to measuring performance.

Shelley started her career in KPMG with over a decade of in-house Corporate Responsibility experience before becoming a consultant in KPMG’s Sustainability Services team. As such, she has genuine understanding of the pressures clients may face when establishing and maintaining sustainability programmes. She draws on her practitioner experience and from working across industries to help clients obtain internal buy-in and build the business case to deliver effective ESG strategies.

Faye Bennett Hart

Director, Sustainability Services

Faye works in partnership with our clients to guide them through complex processes; from science-based target setting, preparing for TCFD reporting, to gathering and calculating scope 3 data. She breaks down these large-scale processes into manageable workstreams and helps people within the organisation to understand the role they play in contributing to the positive outcome.

Her previous roles include Chief Sustainability Officer at an AI technology consultancy, in-house roles such as Global Sustainability Manager in a FTSE100 organisation, and as Associate Director, responsible for developing a sustainability framework at CDP.

Olivia Knight Adams

Head of Sustainability Strategy

Olivia has an ability to engage with people at all levels of an organisation, really listening to their challenges, bringing them on board and using these insights to implement integrated sustainability strategies.

After her Master’s degree in Sustainability Leadership, Olivia worked in the sustainability team for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, before setting up a Defra funded behaviour change programme across 20 English universities. Since then she has worked for businesses including Coca-Cola, YO Sushi, and Pandox Hotels to develop and embed their responsible sourcing and ESG strategies.

Justine Macdonald

Senior Sustainability Consultant

Justine is poised to cast expert and analytical assessment over clients’ governance, stakeholder engagement and reporting projects. She relishes the chance to bury herself in complex datasets and research assignments. With a keen eye for spotting trends and coaxing the story from her analysis, she helps our clients report their success stories.

Completely unintimidated by large files of unwieldy data, Justine’s measured and meticulous approach focuses on businesses’ environmental challenges such as accurate carbon reporting and embedding sound governance practices. Her attention to detail (and surprising enthusiasm for neatly organising data chaos) doesn’t go unnoticed by our clients. This dedication stems from a career of problem-solving, devising world-class sustainability practices, and igniting positive change.

After her Masters in International Environmental Law, Justine spent over ten years in-house at Old Mutual. As Responsible Business Manager, she managed multiple stakeholders across business units in different countries to ensure accurate and timely carbon reporting.

Lois Smith

Senior Sustainability Consultant

When it comes to project management, Lois is second to none; applying a robust and efficient approach. She’s all of the things our clients crave to make things go smoothly. Her understanding of sustainability risk enables her to design plans, frameworks, and focussed reporting where and when it matters.

Lois is diligent and scrupulous at every stage of designing and delivering sustainability programmes. Our clients draw on her expertise and specialism in managing ethical trade, modern slavery risks and greenhouse gas reporting.

After completing her degree, Lois went on to help craft the sustainability strategies of major organisations including the BBC, Selfridges and Royal Mail Group. Her in-house experience is well balanced with her background working in KPMG’s Sustainability Services where she first started to work with Shelley. She has seen and solved sustainability challenges from all perspectives.

Julie Llewellyn

Office Manager

Systematic, thorough and level-headed, Julie provides the team with support to enable them to focus on client engagements.

Julie is one of those people who is always a pleasure to talk with; friendly, helpful and reliable. Julie has always worked in operations and marketing, so has genuine know-how of how businesses tick.

Melissa Carrington

Sustainability Consultant

Melissa has a natural flare for bringing alive client data insights and sustainability messages. She has a meticulous approach when checking evidence, mapping metrics and crafting compelling sustainability communications using data to support the message.

Melissa is also a qualified Nutritional Therapist and supports our client work with knowledge on ways to maximise nutrition and minimise waste.
Through widespread adventures in Nigeria, Columbia and much in between, she’s had on the ground experience of many of the issues she’s committed to improving. Her degree in Geography from the University of Southampton involved a deep dive into sustainable housing for her dissertation, igniting an unwavering interest in sustainability and climate change.

Anna Hann

Sustainability Copywriter

Our clients appreciate the way Anna can flex tones between straight-talking to more technically positioned copy to suit different audiences. One thing always remains the same: text that’s clear, concise and compelling.

After completing a degree in Public Relations, Anna crisscrossed the world as cabin crew before forging a career in travel PR at Virgin Holidays and multinational hotel chains. Pursuing a love of writing and fascination with words, Anna became a copywriter in 2014, writing everything from websites to corporate reports, blogs to brochures.

Henry Wilson

Senior Sustainability Analyst

Henry has a talent for transforming complex sustainability issues into accessible and actionable insights. He’s fantastic at creating and refining data sets, simplifying intricate ESG data into clear, digestible formats for clients that illustrate current practices and identify opportunities.

His precise and scientific approach to analysis, data validation and forecasting, combined with his ability to effectively engage with clients, helps to drive strategic decision-making and long-term planning.

Upon completing his Environmental Science degree, Henry deepened his understanding and passion for the natural environment through his travels across South America. After returning from the heights of Machu Picchu, Henry worked as an ESG Analyst for a global chemicals company.

Patrick Raaj Felix

Sustainability Analyst

Patrick’s interest in sustainability developed whilst taking the Civil Services Examination in India and during visits to the drought and the flood affected regions of the country.

Originally working as an Operations Coordinator in logistics, Patrick was able to apply his interest in sustainability directly by launching office wide initiatives. He then moved to the UK to study for his MSc in Sustainable Finance and Accounting.

Now at Morelli Consulting, he is applying his knowledge to ESG data analysis, carbon footprinting and ESG reporting frameworks. With a deep understanding of how data and accountability shape sustainable practices, Patrick is determined to help businesses turn climate challenges into opportunities for innovation and growth.

Gemma Lacey

Director, Sustainability Engagement

With a 25-year + track record in creating and leading award-winning sustainability strategies, programmes and initiatives for organisations including Southern Co-op, John Lewis Partnership, KPMG and The Body Shop, Gemma helps businesses develop strategic, practical, stakeholder-led responses to complex sustainability issues.

Gemma draws on her executive and multi-functional leadership experience across Sustainability, Brand & Communications, Customer Engagement and People/HR, to ensure sustainability is embedded into every aspect of business, from strategy and operations to governance and decision making, to reporting and communications.

A passionate champion for sustainability, she is skilled in influencing and engaging people at all levels from grassroots to Board, leveraging brand, communications, external advocacy, and strategic partnerships to drive positive change within business.

Annabel Donaldson

Sustainability Analyst

Annabel’s desire to see a transformative change to a sustainable world was sparked during her travels to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and the visible impacts of climate change on the coral ecosystem. With a hunger to learn more, she pursued a Geography degree and conducted in depth research on climate change policy. Her dissertation explored the role of transnational governance in reducing energy-based emissions, with a focus on how businesses can contribute to achieving a net-zero society.

Since then, Annabel has worked in a renewable energy company and project managed large-scale energy installations. Now with Morelli, Annabel is combining her work with studying for a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development. As an Analyst in the Morelli team, Annabel’s role is to lead the day-to-day management of client accounts, conduct ESG data analysis and deliver research across the spectrum of sustainability topics.

Lorna Gavin

Associate Senior Consultant, DE&I Specialist

Prior to becoming a consultant, Lorna worked for 30 years at international law firm Gowling WLG including 14 years practising as a corporate lawyer and partner. She moved into the role of Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Corporate Responsibility from where she created and led multi-award winning pro bono, volunteering and charitable giving, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing programmes. Lorna draws on her in-house experience to help our clients shape their DE&I strategies, guide internal and external communications, support the establishment of employee networks, integrate DE&I measurement into other non-financial data management and facilitates discussions with board members and senior leadership to support continuous learning in people-related topics.
