We’re thrilled to share our first B Corp Impact Report.

Achieving B Corp certification marked a significant milestone for us, joining a global movement of businesses dedicated to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

For Shelley, our Founder, earning B Corp certification was essential to show we are accountable for our impact, and to set an example for our employees, clients, and partners that we are committed to being a force for positive change. 

In our first report, we outline our progress, plans, and commitment to high standards in environmental and social management, as well as business governance, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and accountability every step of the way. 

Our Morelli Moments include: 

• Achieving a 92% employee engagement score in our first employee survey
• 67% job growth rate in 2024 vs 2022
• 80 hours of company time volunteered to support our community partners Palesa Pads and Elizabethfontein Primary School in South Africa
• 300 UK primary school children learning about the lifecycle of plastic through workshops run by the team
• £3,000 fundraised to buy personal care items to help children in South Africa
• Establishing our baseline carbon footprint of 16 tCO2e
• 100% renewable energy use at our office, with one third provided by onsite solar panels
• Three office waste recycling streams set up, including food composting. 

While B Corp principles are woven into the fabric of Morelli Consulting, we have an action plan to continuously improve.
